Battle of the yellow gold Titans. Which one do you choose and why ?

A fellow WPS purist asked me how the Moonshine stacks up to a comparable Daytona in color, quality, extra so I decided to take some photos and let others decides for themselves... I know this is the Omega section so se might be biased so I will post in th

Yes indeed. Rolex is well-known for their durability, resistance, etc...but with this caliber 3861 Omega had surpassed Rolex in almost EVERY categories except WR of 100m but that is pretty insignificant to me since I could wear a dedicated diver's watch.

if I wanted to swim or dive with a watch on. The 3861 caliber is simply amazing technically. * Antimagnetic to 15000 gauss minimum * Resistant to 5000 G forces * METAS chronometer certified * 8 - 10 year expected service intervals I probably forgot a few

This version looks more like a Daytona ...

And is bigger (44mm .vs. Daytona 40mm) and carries, IMHO, a more modern and reliable movement. Let's not compare those two watches. The Daytona has more history, even considering that the famous Daytona (The Paul Newman) has a pedestrian Valjoux movement.

Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 41mm in Blue

Friends, Not long ago I had the chance to see the new Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra and the one that really cached my eyes were (naturally) the blue version! Strong case, nicely shaped lyre lugs and the metal detail on the rubber strap gives the watch a robu

Saturday watch - Omega Constellation Globemaster Pt ...

Team, A pleasure on the wrist. The discrete and cool looks, associated with a gorgeous moment and the platinum presence. One of my best balanced watch. Add to this "package", the master chronometer (15000 Gauss, etc.) assures accuracy and stability. A gre

Well,

I really hates omega now... purchased a DSOTM pitch black not too long ago, the more black version of a black watch (sarcasm, I mean it) ....and now they're pumping out the 'master' 9900 movements like sausages. The 9900 is essentially a mirror duplicate

Excellent report and thanks for the lenghty review

Although I am more into Omega vintage watches, some Omega modern watches are well made. This one plays in the Daytona crowd alongwith other chronographs. My biggest regrets are that there are no self centering hammers in the chronograph mechanism which av
